This page is dedicated to Dr. Peter Baltzer.  Bless his soul. 

15 years of my life had the blessing of time spent with a true angel of a human being  and his magnificent creatures ...via a watercolour painting. A meeting with an admirer of the my work, who then became patron, became a friendship. Over these years Peter became a dear friend.  By profession he was a dentist. In his quiet life he was a wise and witty man, an avid reader very well read on the subject of Scottish History, and in particular the Scottish Deerhound. Peter was an owner/ breeder of Champion Scottish Deerhounds.

In the midst I ended up helping birth and raise to 6 weeks the litter that Shaquille, a future champion, was from. You will find two drawings of him here . He was well tempered and well mannered. He was a beautiful soul. I was truly bless with  the privilege of taking care of Peter's  adult pack, and raising a litter of these beautiful little creatures for/with him, with all of whom i recall at 2 weeks had razor sharp teeth!  
Peter had commissioned me on occasion, even for a few Christmas cards. And dear reader, commissions are always welcome.

Over the course of those years, I had archived for myself a collection of photographs of pups and adults that I unfortunately lost in a hard drive terminal death. Thankfully, the images presented here represent most of what I have saved from the resource of my family's hard drives. This aside, I have more images to format and present that will emerge in the coming months.. .
